Special Clinics
Chronic Disease Management, Cervical Smears, Immunisation and Travel Clinics: Please book an appointment with the Practice Nurse. The Practice Nurses are able to do basic medical screening, Chronic Bronchitis / Asthma, Coronary Heart Disease, Hypertension and Diabetes checks, Contraceptive Checks, Cervical Smears, dressings, injections, ear syringing, Child Immunisation, travel vaccinations and other nursing procedures.
Please note that a fee may be required for certain medications or vaccinations for travel which are not covered by the NHS. Only Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Polio and Small Pox vaccinations for travel are covered by the NHS
Antenatal and Post Natal Clinics: These are held weekly by a doctor and should be booked as soon as you are aware you are pregnant. Your post natal check for yourself and your baby should be six weeks after delivery.
Minor Surgery including Warts Removal and Joint Injections: These can be booked with a doctor at the surgery who will assess and carry out the necessary procedure.
